At Courous, we offer a full range of surveys to support drainage design, planning applications, and site development. All surveys are arranged through our trusted contract partners. We manage everything from brief to delivery, making sure the information is accurate and ready for design.

Topographical Surveys

We provide site level and feature surveys showing buildings, boundaries, manholes, and ground levels. These are essential for drainage layouts, SuDS design, and cut and fill planning.

Drainage Surveys

We can arrange full drainage surveys using CCTV, jetting, and sonde tracing. These are useful when you need to confirm existing drainage condition, connections, or locations before starting new works.

Infiltration Testing

For SuDS and soakaway design, we arrange BRE 365 soakaway testing. We provide clear results including infiltration rates and water table levels, ready to support your drainage strategy.

Utility Mapping

We offer utility surveys including GPR and cable tracing to map underground services. This helps avoid delays on site and supports better drainage routing at design stage.

Manhole & Drain Mapping

We lift covers, record levels, and check directions to produce accurate drain maps. This is often needed when you are looking to connect to an existing sewer or prove a discharge route.
