Section 104 & 106 Submissions, Water authority adoption and consents
Section 104 & 106 Submissions – Water authority adoption and consents
We take the stress out of drainage adoption. Our designs are prepared to align with local water authority standards and the latest Design and Construction Guidance (DCG). We compile and submit full Section 104 and Section 106 applications, ensuring smooth approval and early engagement with the authority's developer services team.
Section 106 refers to the legal agreement required for connecting to an existing public sewer. Any development that needs to discharge foul or surface water to a public sewer network must obtain a Section 106 consent. We prepare the necessary drainage plans and supporting documents to secure this consent efficiently, avoiding delays to your project.
What is Section 106?
Section 104 of the Water Industry Act 1991 covers the adoption of new public sewers by the local water authority. If you're constructing a new foul or surface water sewer to be adopted and maintained by the water company, a Section 104 agreement is required. We prepare adoptable drainage designs, coordinate with utility providers, and handle the submission process through to approval..
